In 2000, the General Center for the Tithe donated the building and all the workshop equipment of the “Dr. Celso Charuri” Municipal School of Basic Vocational Education, in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo.

There are 3,000 m2 of building, designed to serve 900 students/year in computer courses, general mechanics, construction, electricity, industrial sewing and baking. Low income young people, the unemployed who need to update professional knowledge and the disabled are the main public served by the school.

Its operation is under the administration of the city’s SENAI.
